I-SEE and Stellar partner to develop a resilient onboard telecommunications solution

16 June 2026

I-SEE and Stellar sign a partnership agreement dedicated to the development and commercialisation of a next-generation onboard drone telecommunications solution. An agreement addressing one of the most critical challenges of modern operations: sovereign mastery of communications in constrained environments.

Data transmission and drone command and control (C2) represent one of the most critical and vulnerable functions of unmanned aerial systems. In operational environments, the quality, reliability and jamming resistance of communication links directly condition mission effectiveness. It is to meet this requirement that I-SEE and Stellar have combined their respective expertise within a strategic partnership announced at Eurosatory.

The jointly developed solution is based on an intelligent channel-switching architecture: the system selects in real time the most effective communication channel based on its availability, signal quality, data volume to be transmitted and jamming resistance. This approach ensures optimal service continuity in dense and contested radio-electric environments, whether for civil or military operations. The dual civil-military compatibility is a considerable strategic advantage, extending the range of applications well beyond defence use alone.

This partnership is part of I-SEE’s strategy to integrate the best technologies available on the market, ensuring its drones deliver leading system performance.
