Project Management & Program Coordination – Work-Study Position
I-SEE specializes in the development of long-range heavy drones and autonomous systems.
Drawing on over 15 years of R&D in the design of technologically advanced aircraft, I-SEE develops drones dedicated to observation, surveillance, and aerial intervention.
I-SEE is a winner of the “France 2030” call for projects, receiving state funding to develop the first aircraft powered by a liquid hydrogen engine (the EICLHAIR project).
I-SEE is seeking a work-study student for a Project Management and Program Coordination role starting in September 2026. The position is based at the company’s Southwest facilities (Mimizan) and involves travel to other French sites as well as remote work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Working within the Program Department, the student will provide direct support for program management: contributing to program coordination, maintaining dashboards, and preparing materials for decision-making bodies.
This is an enhanced PMO-style role, designed for someone eager to learn the project management profession through hands-on experience with a real-world program:
Program coordination. Assist the Program Director in managing the flagship program (the IC-D drone and its product line variants): tracking milestones, preparing committee meetings, and consolidating schedules.
Project Management Office (PMO). Maintain schedules, dashboards, and progress curves; track hours and budget consumption by work package; and update performance indicators.
Meeting preparation and facilitation. Prepare materials for the weekly steering committee, gather updates from work package managers, draft records of decisions, and track action items.
Inter-work-package liaison. Facilitate information flow between work package managers, support functions (purchasing, industrialization, finance), and management. Identify roadblocks and risks.
Documentation and deliverables: Format program documents (memos, action plans, presentations) in compliance with corporate guidelines and confidentiality requirements.
This position offers:
A rare cross-functional perspective for an intern/apprentice: covering regulatory, technical, industrial, financial, and commercial aspects.
Hands-on skill development in program management methods within a demanding environment.
An opportunity to join a rapidly growing French company—a “France 2030” plan award winner—operating in the dual civil-defense market.
Candidate profile
Currently pursuing a Master’s-level degree (4th or 5th year of higher education): engineering school, business school, or a Master’s program in project or program management (or equivalent).
Strong interest in the industrial, aerospace, or defense sectors; genuine technical curiosity.
Meticulousness, organizational skills, and an aptitude for working with data: comfortable with schedules, dashboards, and cost estimation.
Strong writing and synthesis skills; ability to produce clear, structured documentation.
Autonomy, discretion, and reliability: the role involves handling sensitive information.
Proficiency in office software and project management tools; knowledge of scheduling software is a plus.
Fluent French; professional-level English is an asset given the dual-market and international environment.
